PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
If your business is minority- and/or women-owned
, and you would like to participate in Wachovia's Corporate Supplier Diversity program, there are just a few steps to the process.
Step 1: Determine if your company provides a good or service that we need. Wachovia sources the following services:
- Architecture, Construction and Property Management, Real Estate Services
- Furnishings, Office Equipment or Supplies, Moving and Storage
- Human Resource Staffing, Legal, Marketing, Technology Services
- Promotional Items, Printed Products
- Services Contracts/Maintenance and Repair
Step 2: Ensure that your company is certified as minority- or woman-owned. To qualify as a Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE), your business must be certified by an official certification agency. These organizations, as well as other local, state, and federal government agencies provide third-party certification services. For details, please contact any of these agencies directly:
The certification process typically involves completing an application, providing written documentation, and may include allowing the certifying agency to conduct a site visit. If your business qualifies, the agency will issue you a printed certificate to verify your status.
Step 3: Read the supplier registration process and complete the supplier registration form:
Our corporate supply chain process creates opportunities for suppliers to participate as partners in providing goods and services. Upon receipt of your registration form, proof of your certification and references, we will add your business to our Global Supply Chain/Supplier Diversity database.
