In 2002 Wachovia began an enterprise-wide supplier diversity focus. Here are a few accomplishments:

• Over $1.5 billion has been spent with M/WBEs
• M/WBE spend has increased 174 percent
• Over $927 million has been spent with WBE suppliers an increase of 117 percent
• Over $597 million has been spent with MBE suppliers an increase of 290 percent
